Six checks before you pay anyone.

For a used car already in Kenya, from anyone, on Outo or not. Use them with us, with a dealer, or with a friend of a friend. No number needed. At an Outo viewing, Anthony does all six with you.

Search the logbook on NTSA (eCitizen).The owner’s name should match the person selling.
Match the numbers.Chassis and engine numbers on the car should match the logbook.
See the car before any money moves.Never send a deposit for a car you haven’t seen.
Get a mechanic’s inspection.A few thousand shillings now can save you hundreds of thousands.
Pay to a business account, not a personal number.And get a signed sale agreement first.
Be wary of a price far below others.The cheapest listing is often cheap for a reason.
